National Highway - 52
National Highway No.- 52 passes through this state connecting important places in Arunachal Pradesh. It enters the state at Banderdawa in West Kameng district and goes via Tawang town, Bomdila, Dirang to reach Tezpur in Assam.
National Highway - 15
The part of National Highway-15 is also known as AH-36 which is popularly called by another name - Aghurmi Road. It covers the major parts of East Kameng district and enters Arunachal Pradesh at Bhalukpong and it goes via Tenga, Sela Pass, Bomdila to reach Tezpur.
National Highway - 52A
This highway originates from Along in Assam and enters Arunachal Pradesh at Bame where it merges with NH-52. It passes through Mechuka town and goes via Sela Pass to reach Tezpur in Assam.
National Highway - 153
This highway starts from NH-52 and passes through Kalaktang town and connects important places like Itanagar, Seppa and Pangsau Pass to the Tinsukia district of Assam.
Local Transport
You can easily avail of local transport to reach remote areas of Arunachal Pradesh as this state has a very good road network. For hill areas, you need to have your own vehicle or hire a taxi from the counter for those places.

For Bagdogra:
This is the nearest airport to Siliguri which is a good place for shopping and has many other tourist attractions as well. It is also well connected with other parts of India. Therefore, you can choose this airport for your convenience if you are looking for a long-distance journey.
On the other hand, you can also reach this place by taking a train to New Jalpaiguri railway station which will take around 6 hours to travel from Naharlagun.
