'Most Promising New Tourist Destination' Awarded to Meghalaya

Meghalaya Has Been Recognized and Awarded As 'The Most Promising New Destination' at Hyderabad 2022 Travel & Tourism Fair.

On Thursday, Meghalaya's CM stated that the state has been given the title of "Most Promising New Destination" at the Travel and Tourism Fair Hyderabad 2022. Sangma thanked Team Meghatourism for their efforts.

The Meghalaya State Government also announced the decision on its official Twitter account. Meghalaya, which was formed on 21st January 1972, is an attractive eastern Indian state with Shillong as its capital. The beautiful mountain ranges, heavy rains, sunshine, high plateaus, stunning waterfalls, rivers, and grasslands are among the state's attractions.

The Meghalaya plateau is still the main attraction, with much of the tropical forest found in Meghalaya, where one may observe birds, animals, insects, and reptiles. The state's tourist attractions are always jam-packed with visitors from India and foreign nations.
