Ashit Baruah, who is a bodybuilder from Shillong, wins the Title of 'Junior Mr. Universe India' at the International Bodybuilding Championship when he competed in the 60 kg - 70 kg category. The tournament was organised by the Indian Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation in Pune.
Baruah took first place in the Mr India National Championship 2022 for athletes between 65 and 70 kilos.
On Wednesday, he arrived in Shillong and greeted his family and friends.
Baruah thanked his father, coach, and mother for his win in an interview with the press. His father, Raju Baruah, is a bodybuilder who has won numerous awards.
“I will be winning the Mr Universe and Mr India titles,” he said. “My father and Robbie, who have been training me, have helped me a lot.”
